Statement of Faith…
THE BIBLE
> The Bible is the infallible Word of God as revealed by Him to men & women of faith for our instruction and inspiration:
All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, so that the Servant of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work
[2 Timothy 3:16-17]
> God did not mysteriously disappear after Malachi…The Bible is the revealed Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible is the only book we need for a well-equipped, Scripturally centered Marriage & Family

WE ARE HIS CREATION
> The LORD God created man & woman in His Image: God created man in His Own Image, in the Image of God He created him; male and female He created them [Genesis 1:27]
> We are Father’s Most Beloved Creation because only the man & woman were formed with His Own Hands. Everything Father created through five days, and the first half of the 6th day, of Creation were meant to benefit the man & woman

MARRIAGE IS A COVENANT
> A covenant, when spoken by God, is to be obeyed fully and is everlasting...
obeyed fully: At Mount Sinai, He told Moses: “If you keep My Covenant, then you shall be My Treasured Possession…and you shall be to Me…a holy nation” [Exodus 19:5-6]
everlasting: With Noah, He established this Covenant: “Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of the flood and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth…This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you, a covenant for all generations to come” [Genesis 9:11-12]
> The Marriage Covenant is a promise between man & woman...for everlasting obedience to the other [keep My Covenant]...to keep each other holy [My Treasured Possession…a holy nation]...before Our Heavenly Father as witness: The Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth…of your marriage covenant [Malachi 2:14]

THE MARRIAGE COVENANT IS THE CROWN JEWEL OF CREATION
> When The LORD God created man & woman, He commanded into existence the Marriage Covenant & Family: “A man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and THEY SHALL become one flesh” [Genesis 2:24]
> Becoming One Flesh is God’s Marriage Covenant…the FIRST Covenant Father made with mankind. The One Flesh Marriage Covenant was the last thing God made...Father did not rest until THE Crown Jewel of Creation was established

WE HAVE FREEWILL
> God designed man & woman with freewill. Inevitably, Satan will seduce us into sinful behaviors. Father wants us to choose to resist them, not out of fear of His Judgment, but by embracing His Love for us. Satan would have us believe that our choices have no consequences on the lives we touch
> Father’s pleasure is aroused when we choose, through our freewill, to reflect His Image & His Likeness to the lives we touch. Everything we do reflecting Father’s Face on earth should be done in His Lovingkindness
> The greatest danger to the Marriage Covenant is in choosing freewill over God’s Will in the pursuit of our self-indulgences

WE HAVE SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS
> Jesus Christ, through the shedding of His Blood on The Cross, gave His Life as the final sacrifice for the atoning of sin:
It is by The Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth…whom God raised from the dead…Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved [Acts 4:10-12]
God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that we might live together with Him [1 Thessalonians 5:9-10]
> We come under His Saving Grace when we...
believe: In Him you who have heard The Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also, having believed, were stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of our inheritance [Ephesians 1:13-14]
repent: For the sorrow that is according to The Will of God produces repentance leading to salvation [2 Corinthians 7:10]
obey: Having been perfected, He became The Author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him [Hebrews 5:9]
stand firm in the faith: Receiving the outcome of your faith—the salvation of your souls [1 Peter 1:9]

ETERNAL LIFE & HEAVEN
> Eternal Life and entry into Heaven are NOT all-inclusive: “Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction…small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and there are few who find it” [Matthew 7:13-14, words of Christ]
> Heaven is God’s House and Eternal Life is His Bountiful Gift to us, therefore He gets to make the rules…His Rules are revealed to us throughout Scripture…
> Eternal Life is: ”That they may know You, The Only True God, and to know Jesus Christ, The Messiah, whom You have sent” [John 17:3, words of Christ]
> Satan also knows The Only True God and Jesus Christ, so we have to separate ourselves from those who do evil: Whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk just as He walked [1 John 2:6]
> No one gets to The Father but through The Son. Jesus said: “I am The Way and The Truth and The Life. No one comes to The Father except through Me” [John 14:6, words of Christ]
> It is through the Perfecting Grace of The Redeemer’s Blood that God judges us:
For The Grace of God has appeared, bringing deliverance from sin and eternal salvation to all men [Titus 2:11]
For this reason [The Blood of Christ], He is The Mediator of a New Covenant so that those who are called may receive the fulfillment of the promised eternal inheritance [Hebrews 9:14-15]
> “Christians” must beware: “Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter The Kingdom of Heaven but only he who does The Will of My Father who is in Heaven. Many will say to Me on that day…did we not prophecy in Your Name…and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly ‘I never knew you’” [Matthew 7:21-23,words of Christ]
> …and they should stay on the path: “No sooner do the ones by the wayside beside the path where The Word is sown hear The Word then Satan comes and snatches away the message that was sown in their hearts” [Mark 4:15, words of Christ]
